Billions of dollars are spent every year to get you addicted to video games. They literally have psychologists researching the most effective ways to force all of your time under their control.
They have their tricks, and you can have your own to fight back! If you learn them.
1. Delete, destroy, change, edit, every single thing you can to make it as hard as possibly imaginable for you to relapse.
2. Now that you've opened the window of opportunity, fill that newfound time with anything better, preferably something not as addicting, for you already know you have the ability to be addicted.
3. Put your new habit as early in your morning as you possibly can, this way it never gets put off, and you get to go through your day feeling like a winner, because you already got something good done.
4. Use social to your advantage, get a coach, a team, a partner that will hold you to your new higher standard.
If you relapse, just keep interrupting your old habit until one day its broken for good. These windows of opportunity for change come only a few times a year for some people, so USE THEM!
Yes, some non addictive games that are amazing exist. Yes some people don't get addicted to games. Addiction or not, some people want to change habits and try something new. This helps do that.
