Just a note: Highlight Reel is off the rest of the week for Thanksgiving. We should return on either the 27th or 28th of November. Happy thanksgiving.
Yeah, WOW! Isn't that like the 15000th time we've seen two guys get shot by one bullet? Isn't it like the 1500th time we saw a guy take a bullet for another guy accidentally? These FPS 'skill' videos are great and all but when do we see something new? When do these clips up the ante, you know?
With that said, I still like your show. Happy Thanksgiving.
The people that are still supporting EA at this point are no different from the idiots that voted trump into office. You're the reason the country is going down the drain. Allowing those with more money and power to do anything they want is just plain stupid.
I understand the hate for EA what I don't understand is all that hate also hurts dice as a studio. I see all this "don't feature BF2" crap, but that also hurts a studio that has to answer to them. People need to calm down.
Interesting to see people complaining about BF2 clips. I'm boycotting the game, but I'm pretty sure anyone who was going to buy it either already _has_ or decided to boycott it too. This isn't going to convince anyone to buy it if they weren't already, so as long as EA continue to not get my - preferably any - money I'm perfectly happy to see clips from it.
I fucking cant believe all thoses morons. Tbh, i dont like the whole microtransaction thing, when its not just about cosmetics either. But all i can see is all thoses ppl repeating the same stuff you see everywhere, ppl who are so bored they just enjoy being part of the controversy, even tho they haven't tried the game one second. Yeah game devs try to make easy money on our asses, even if its practically a theft, they are prolly the only business men on earth to do that ! (Sarcasm). Most of ppl won't pay thoses boxes, just play and beat the shit out of thoses who will, get over it, or just stop playing video games. And stop with the shitty arguments " the game is officially launched and its bugged ! " No way, José ! Is this the first time you buy a recent game ? Moron...
I fucking adore the reasons people downvote these. "Oh I don't like one of the many games in this video so sorry, it's trash." Fucking end yourself, how narcissistic do you have to be to come to that conclusion? "It doesn't have the games I want so this video sucks and anyone who has different game preference can fuck off."
It's just a clip show, you know? People need to relax. I haven't played the vast majority of games Highlight Reel has featured over the last year or so but it's always entertaining to see games glitch out or displays of skill.
for those who doesn't really get the last clip.. in the game we could calculate wheter the person is lying or not by looking at their facial gesture, but the clip doesn't have one and only rely on speech. thus, expert mode
On the other hand, I rarely see someone who haven't played a game actually have good insight on whatever issues it may have. Most of them just repeat what they heard/read in a review, or worse, in a youtuber's review.
Which is obvious, because they haven't played the game. It would be obnoxious to demand from someone who haven't experienced something to be able to evaluate that experience, especially if they are not professionals.
I've played several games that were bashed by the community, and either thought they were ok or even great. In the end, my conclusion was that the "quality" of a game, by what the community defines as "quality" (which is not, since actual evaluated quality should involve many factors that your average player just can't account for), is relative to each player. And since no one knows me better than myself, I will buy a game if it interests me enough and that's it. If it's good *FOR ME* or bad *FOR ME*, I will decide myself.
PS.: of course I don't ignore reviews. But I make sure to actually read them and think about them. Usually what makes me buy a game I'm not sure about are the bad ones. Becase if I read the bad reviews and see that they point out nothing that I consider a issue (like some say "Con: Game is too hard.". Seriously?) or are just straight out stupid, then the game will probably be fine for me.
What AuntSteve said is true
Why do you need to buy a game to have an opinion? You vote with your wallet, if you buy a broken game just to have an opinion it's counter intuitive to the whole vote with your wallet thing.
It's like saying you need to be in a court room to see for yourself if the person is guilty or not
0 fucking logic
why are yah such haters on battlefront 2? like it's honestly a fun game, and there aren't even micro transactions temporarily your complaints were heard. the fact that yah still hating means yah can't let go of a weak grudge
engleis24 oh naive child. It wasn't OUR complaints that stopped it. It only stopped when Papa Disney made 1 fucking call. And of course, to remind what you just said "temporary". The fact they can't bring themselves to say "forever" and just give cosmetic lootboxes should tell you all you need to know. They deserve every fricken amount of hate and scathing comments and I hope the game flops so hard that Disney pulls their exclusivity rights to Star Wars. I hope DICE and EA lose their collective minds and it bombs big time financially. It wont happen but its what they deserve.
Mr New Vegas this many glitches does make it bad. You gotta realize this shows how unpolished the product is before they start taking money for it. Shadow of Mordor is the same way and has been out way longer. Hopefully people will catch on and realize that it’s better for you to pass on nostalgia for the greater good of the medium. THE GREATER GOOD.
