Hey! This is a tutorial on Tigrans Hamasyans composition "Vardavar". I devided this tutorial into five kind of small parts, so it would not get too long, since there are lot of repetitions in it. There are layers of different piano parts in this recording, but I stick to the "foundational" piano part.
I do not use MIDI-files, I played manually with Synthesia, with the metronome set on 84 to make it easier to see and hear what is played. It is actually harder to play at such slow tempo. The original tempo is approximately 140 bpm. The whole piece works over the time signature 4/4, that's why I included the metronome with an accent on the first beat, otherwise it can be a little frustrating to keep track of count.
I hope that you will be able to learn it from this tutorial, It is really fun to play, plus it is like a big rhythmical exercise ;)

This is how it looks like to play in tempo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgwbJNuU8wE
Hey! I've been looking all over for some sheet music of the song, but I can't seem to find it anywhere! I just have a hard time learning off of Synthesia and preferr sheets. Do you know where to find something like that? Thanks!
Thank you so much :D
Just a question, a the end, is it still 5-5-3-5-5-4-5 or is it 3-3-2-3-3-3-3 (or more 2.75-3.25 or smth like this for the last one)
It sounds like 3-3-2 but doesnt match exactly the cymbal behind
Anyway it helped a lot thanks againn
