How are these "Linux games"? Rocket League is for Windows, Mac and PS4 and Steam Engine. That Steam Engine is capable on running on Linux does not make a game a "Linux game". Then anything I run successfully through WINE is also a Linux game?
amdgpu-pro runs on almost all GNC cards including mine. Then for 16.10
try one of the ppa's to give you mesa upgrades. To have good performance on open drivers you need to have updates constantly. AMD drivers are not nearly as bad as people say they are, you just have to put a little work into setting up the best ones they have. Let me know if you need help.
I play rocket league fine on ubuntu 16.04 with amdgpu-pro drivers installed with my r9 290. If you'd rather take the open source route the Podoka ppa or the Oibaf ppa are your best friend on 'Buntu distros.
The fact that a lot of these games were already out on PC months or a year ago says something about the viability of Linux gaming. (not hating on linux players, just saying)
And combine that with the compatibility issues, performance decreases and the lack of big hitters like Fallout or Battlefield 1, you can see that Linux still has a *looooong* way to go being an ideal replacement for Windows. (sorry Linus, your operating system is awesome and all, but that's just how it is)
+Dhust Where did I say that linux is stupid? And I *have* kept it for just gaming. I never said linux doesn't have any other useful ways to be implemented. I think you've misread my comment!
I also like the fact that you've mentioned the fact that I called it an OS, which is completely irrelevant! (At this point I'm intentionally gonna say 'linux operating system' just to piss of people like you')
"you are nothing more than another stupid user."
Aww, this one warms my heart! Since I only mentioned games, I'm obviously stupid! DAE gamers are kids amirite?! Also...

That might be, but if you read any review of mankind divided you also read that the game is pretty short and unfinished. If any future DLC will fix that, I'll buy it then, if not, I probably won't even touch it. After all, human revolution is not on linux so I couldn't care less about a sequel, and a short one at that.
And with such bad reviews I still won't touch it possibly for another year until they release the whole DLC so I can play the full game, if they ever do it. The current DLC is pretty much a joke, as are the micro-transactions.
