But why footage here differs from original game? You don't have Kay at your side in airplane case.

That makes me want to know what it would be like with Kay in case 2.
wownice (11 months ago)
The trailer was most likely made early in development, and Kay's introduction was changed upon release.

So do I have to play any of the other games pas the original trilogy before this or is AAI just like off to the side?
Dragonk116 (1 year ago)
Not really but it's highly suggested you play the original trilogy first.

It's pretty much its own thing, though I would suggest playing the original trilogy first so that you get all the references such as returning characters. But I don't think anything is particularly spoiler heavy.

Nicholas Svitak How about if I play the patch now but still get the physical copy later on?

+Nicholas Svitak I'm more believing of the argument that it may have had something to do with the game's development team apparently disbanding not too long after it was released.

+Declan Sheehan Well according to wikipedia, it sold 162,910 copies within the first two weeks. I'm not sure about the copies after that. In comparison, the DS version of the first game sold almost double that amount in Japan during it's first two weeks, and sales stayed very high for a few weeks after that

+Nicholas Svitak I wonder if this sold well in Japan. Because I've heard some people speculate that maybe Capcom didn't release this outside of Japan because they were afraid it wouldn't sell well enough but if that's the case I don't get why they'd bother making a sequel at all, my friend said maybe because the game at least sold well enough in Japan to warrant one.

+Declan Sheehan No, I don't feel like there's any problem because of that and because it's a 6 year old game
