Wasn't there also a flash sequence at the start of the trailer that looked like Vicky's arm (same shirt it seemed) and a pool of blood by some stairs which might indicate that Michael pretty much immediately murdered her after the closet incident?
For one if the grandma is Michael's younger sister and she is like 60 there like 8 years apart so your saying a 68 year old man will go on one of the biggest killing sprees ever that does not make much sense but at least he is like the only killer that is human but he got shot in every part of his body he got to have a disease or something
I'm looking forward to this movie so much, but I wish it didn't seem so similar to the first one. :/ Like, I have a feeling that this is gonna be a great movie, but your breakdown reminds me of how unoriginal movie makers are, these days.
I still believe they're gonna make it as to where Laurie and Michael are brother and sister. The scene where her granddaughter tells her friends it was made up could imply that she either knows they are related, and is hiding it from her friends, or she doesn't know, that Laurie hid it from her, and they only show this scene in the trailer to throw everyone off. For some reason I instantly had this thought the moment I first watched it.
i realized that in some BTS shots, he is wearing a non-decayed mask, that's just white. Dawns a new mask or flashbacks to being taken into custody? Or maybe even flashbacks to what he was doing on Halloween 1978 at some moments?
To anybody reading this Michael does not die at the end Laurie dies at the end thinking that she actually killed Michael for real and the word is not a sequel this is a reboot because there is going to be a sequel to this in 2020 is already been green lit by Blum house
I have to admit that in my opinion, when michael escaped in the original, it really just left that feeling with me that made the movie all that much scarier. I do like the new retcon look and all but I think it was a bit of a mis-step by the studio to also retcon that he was captured after his frightening disapearance.
Also just a side-note, hopefully they will address his capture in the beginning of the new film and not just treat it as a police capturing just any other guy because it would be a crime to rob everyone of those goosebumps that scene gave.
A few months ago it said Halloween 1 + 2 would be the only continuity, But now it is just the first one WTF
They could of at least made 2nd film canon it was set on the same bloody night!
Also on the Looper TV website it says about this new film but then shows a picture of number 2 of when Laurie shot him in the face and his eyes are bleeding out so what was point in showing that if 2nd film isn't canon in this film lol
I find it bizarre that they only mention THREE deaths in 1978, not the four depicted in the film. Considering that Michael was arrested wearing the clothes of his first 1978 victim, you'd think the murder of the maintenance man would have been included.
Jackie's husband Rick here. Two things. Although Halloween 2 was a drop off from the first, It' doubtful there will ever be a btter ending for Michael. A key point of the original was the ending, and how Michael disappeared after Dr. Loomis shot him 6 times. That he was caught and arrested, puts a damper on a perfect ending.
"Your grandmother is Laurie Strode." Being nothing more than someone who survived a killer's attack, why would Laurie Strode be such a famous name to the world? Why would Laurie Strode stand out so much among the countless victims of assault throughout history?
