I have a feeling this scene was intended to be a flashback during the final moments of the season if clementine was bit the same way Lee was. This would indicate Telltale wanted to bring the series to a full circle. I would hate to see Clem go. It would break my heart but its the only way I'd prefer to have it be. Maybe we would have been able to see her be reunited with Lee at the end. I guess we may never know...
Be cool if Clem and Aj are about to die and all of sudden Lee shows up saving them and it does a flash back and Clem never really shot him cause never showed it but someone showed up saw lee still hanging gives him a cure I mean Kenny survived his 100% certain death
If you look at the thumbnail and compare it to season 1, Clem is holding on AJ like Lee was holding onto her while she was still a kid. Lil easter egg there, they're probably gonna end it like season 1.
Seeing this makes me realize just how unnecessary Season 3 was. Like you could have gone straight from Season 2 to this and it wouldn't make a difference. Season 3 was so weak with so much of it centering around Javier's family drama about a romance that didn't even happen in my playthrough. I barely remember any of the characters outside of his family because everyone else was so bland... Except Jesus and that one girl Aya or whatever who met up with Clem. She was cool for the twenty minutes of screentime she had. I really hope this goes back to the quality of the first two seasons.
Oh gee, i sure do wonder whats going to happen to Clementine. I am just bursting with ideas on what could possibly happen to Clem with the promotional art being incredibly similar to the first season's and Clem's haunting line near the end of the trailer. Oh boy, i sure cant wait to see what happens to Clem and AJ in the final episode!
My theory is one of two scenarios:
1- Clem will be in a position where she’ll have a Carl Grimes moment. Gets bit and has to shoot her self
2- Clem will have to shoot AJ. Think about it. If they kill Clem in the same or similar way as Lee, it’ll make the whole final season predictable and we all know TWD likes plot twists. I’m thinking Clem will have to watch AJ die or have to shoot AJ; adding more pain and suffering to Clem and us fans. Watching Clem in unearthly agony would be more impactful than watching Clem die, because that would be predictable
This is my theory but:
Season 4 Episode 5 will have a similar ending like Season 1 Episode 5.
Clementine gets bit just like Lee did and she has to help AJ make a decision just like Lee helped Clem.
Choice A: *shoot Clementine*
Choice B: *let Clementine turn*
Preordered this already and received all previous seasons of TWD as bonus! Now that’s what I call a great pre-order bonus! So excited to play Season 1 and 2 again although I have played them for like 4-5 times each.
Look at the similarities between season one’s photo with lee and clem, this thumbnail looks almost identical to the season one photo except it’s clem and AJ instead of lee and clem. Wonder if this will end like the first season, or if it’ll end somewhat like it.
