Please don't flag me Nintendo. I'll love you 5ever if you don't.
I am really curious. Is it illegal to STILL download gamecube games you do not own but have the data on your memory card because I sold 3 gamecube games to gamestop. Which was a mistake only got like what 30 dollars. (For those who are curious it was Super Mario Sunshine, Luigis Mansion, And Super Smash Bros Melee. I know it was a bad deal but I wanted that Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze game.) So just curious even though I have the data on my Memory card. Also I own Super Mario Strikers from one of my best friends garage sales :D too bad he moved ); I would play them on my gamecube but my stupid ass pets. Chewed up the AV cord aka the cord with the 3 colorful wires (Red, white, and yellow) And those dumbass animals also chewed up my controller!!! ):< I don't know which ones did it either my Dog or my Cats. Because my cats like chewing up headphone wires....
I started downloading Simpsons: Hit&Run, and the file is 1,1GB big. The download is so fucking slow. Download speed is around 10,1 KB/s. Is it my pc, or game or my internet? Bcz I can download files that are about 10GB for less than 1 hour.
? Most games on Emuparadise come in multiple .rar files. In order to get the actual game, you have to extract all of them into a folder, right click the .rar file(ignoring the .r01, .r02, etc.), and click "Extract Here".
(If you have no idea what I just said, then I truly can't help you. Here's a hint, use 7-Zip.)
+The Fat Banana Well, my cousin told me a story about how he used to pirate a LOT of music, until one day he received a letter from his ISP telling him to cut that shit out or they'll limit his service.
Piracy is the act of procuring a piece of electronic media without paying for it. If you _already_ own Luigi's Mansion, but _don't_ possess the means necessary to rip the game to be used in an emulator, downloading it is your only option.
so i have tried multiple times with multiple sites and multiple games but it WILL NOT WORK. i unzip the file and when i try to open it it opens another folder and says there is nothing in it. wtf? i just want to play luigis mansion. jesus.
well... like I own Paper Mario Thousand Year Door... but it's fucking annoying hooking my Wii up just for that (I have my Wii U hooked up - but it doesn't play gamecube games).
With that being said ...pretty sure Nintendo still views it as piracy. I think the whole "it's fine if you own it" thing is just something you tell yourself to feel less guilty.
I HAVE to tell you all to not pirate games so that lawyers can't point a finger at me and say that I'm part of the reason people are pirating GameCube and Wii games. The only thing that can happen is your ISP could limit your speeds or something if they catch wind of the unlawful act because you decided to download the entire GameCube library in a single day. I'm not gonna tell you to do it, but nobody will care if you download GameCube games. I don't even think you can buy them from anywhere but eBay anymore.
This happens every time- I go to every site to download a Wii ROM but instead of taking hours to download, it takes 2 seconds. Then windows doesn't know what to open it with. And dolphin won't pick it up. Please help!
Fixed Problem with this issue if you are currently doing this in 2015 then listen up!
Step 1.Download - https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
Step 2.Download - Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (64 Bit/86 bit) "You need both"
Step 3.Download all of the roms/games you want from - http://www.doperoms.com/ (Is reliable)
Step 4.Put all of your downloaded rom files into 1 folder.
Step 5.Go to 4:15 in the video and continue from there
You're welcome. this took me forever but i'm broke as hell and this way is cheap as hell so you're welcome <3
+DaBro 25 First of, there's no such thing as x64. There are 64-bit processors, but they still use the x86 architecture. And this will run on any computer with powerful enough hardware. when I tried it on my laptop, it ran like total garbage. But when I tried it on my desktop, it ran smoother than butter.
PLZ HELP EVERY TIME I TRY TO OPEN DOLPHIN IT SAYS THIS The program can start because MSVCP140.DLL is missing from yout computer try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
I DID REINSTALL THE PROGRAM PLZ HELP
+fireclaw316 Don't worry I fixed the problem all I needed was the MSVCP140.dll And Openal32.dll All you have to do is download them from a LEGIT site or else from another site your likely to get a virus
+fireclaw316 i downloaded the game from the site you mentiond in the video:/ do you have any site that let me download such a file? i realy want to play the games from the old days.. its so hard to find them now :/
+Sebastian Kullman If you have a .rar or .zip file containing several files, then you need to download the game from elsewhere. What you have are the files that you would burn to a CD to be used in a hacked Wii.
+DaBro 25 Any controller is compatible. If you want to, you *can* buy a Gamecube-to-USB adapter, and setup the emulator with the Gamecube controller. But if you want to use an Xbox 360 controller, you'll need to have a wired controller, or a wireless USB adapter like I have. If you have PS3 or PS4 controllers, I have tutorials on how to set those up for gaming on PC as well.
+Epic gamer Muniz Well, where are you downloading them from? The game's won't work unless they're in the file formats that I mentioned(.iso for gamecube and .wbfs for Wii). And if they're crashing, that either means your computer isn't powerful enough, or you messed with something in the settings that's causing the instabilities.
Hold on a moment, I'd left two comments on this video, and since you responded to me I got extremely confused. You must want to talk to the OP instead, so we both kinda failed in a way. Understandable confusion.
You mentioned how you need a pretty strong PC to run these games right? Well, what if I don't care about graphics, and run the games on the lowest settings?
Yes it will look like crap, but will it still run good if everything is on low, and the resolution is like, 320X400? lol
+will kinzell Well, then I guess you just learn to not give a fuck. I'm not condoning piracy, even though it's obvious that I'm no stranger to it, but if you own the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess, or the Wii version of Black Ops(don't know why you would), you are legally allowed to create an ISO backup to use in case your game breaks. If someone asks where you got a ROM from, you can tell them you made it yourself, and they probably won't bother putting the time and money into proving that you got it off the internet. Even then, YOU STILL OWN THE GAME! I'm not gonna re-buy a game digitally to keep playing it.
Yes your logic is correct, but the law doesn't care. They don't know if you own the game, and frankly they don't care, downloading roms from unapproved websites is illegal, Nintendo owns the rights to the games. They make profit from the Wii u store thing, basically if you download the Rom you're just pirating the game, whether you own the physical copy or not.
+will kinzell You ALREADY own the game! By downloading a ROM, all you're doing is allowing yourself to play your games on a different device. Hell, you can play Wii games at 1080p with a bunch of graphics enhancements that the Wii - or even the WiiU - just can't achieve. If you have the right kind of disc drive, you can make your own ROMs by copying the games of their discs! But, since not all disc drives can read Wii discs(Wiis spin the disc backwards, compared to standard disc drives), downloading the ROMs is simpler.
Well it doesn't make sense that if you own a physical copy that it's not illegal. Nintendo sells gamecube and wii games on the wii u store thing, so by downloading the roms for free you technically are pirating (not saying I don't download roms) the whole if you own the copy you can download just doesn't make sense since nintendo can't really enforce that.
+will kinzell If you own the physical copy(or even a digital one) it's perfectly legal to use a ROM. It's illegal to make a ROM and upload it to the internet. However, you won't get in trouble for simply DOWNLOADING one(if you own the game).
+will kinzell It's a really good Pentium. The G3258, in fact, which supports up to 32 GB of RAM. I just happen to only have 12. The processor is $75, and is based on the same Haswell architecture that the core i3/i5/i7s are based on, so it's really good for gaming if you have a decent graphics card.
