I hate the constant "remake" of everything just because I suffer from nostalgia. I'm more than happy to go back and play the old games, as they were (except for Chrono Cross, apparently, which hasn't aged as well fro me as I'd liked).
Vagrant Story, SUCH a victim of bad timing. It's one of the reasons major releases or would be new franchises either don't come out at the same time of a new console, or are packaged WITH a console. I agree on Parasite Eve.
As for KotoR, so long as EA has the rights to make Star Wars games & Misney sticks to NOT having it's own actual games studio, it's just not going to happen. LucasArts should never have been allowed to die.
For myself, I'd adore seeing Eternal Darkness remade & FF06.
For me the only classic hardcore game:
IGI 1 well what can i say i have spent hours playing this hardcore game.It had a igi 2 version but till this day there was never a real igi 3 all were fan made but another company bought the rights and is making it for ps4 and xbox one it's gonna be a real game maybe one of the best games just wait till 2020
I prefer the 3rd Onimusha game over the rest of the series...
Concerning KOTOR, while the idea is awesome, there's no way I want to see such remake until EA lose the Star Wars licence to a MUCH better company (they can't do jack sh*it with Star Wars... Except maybe sh*t, like the Disney movies).
Aaaaaah, Parasite Eve... What I wouldn't give for a remake of the first game with Aya Brea's voice (didn't liked "3rd Birthday", refuse to consider it a part of the "canon" series)...
Link's Awakening? Pass... I would prefer a 3D remake of the Oracles GBC games...
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Devil May Cry trilogy
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Battle Nexus
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (with better combat).
Dragon Age: Origins (with voiced main character)
Warriors of Might and Magic (PS2), Rune (PS2), Dark Cloud (PS2), Red Faction (PS2), MechWarrior: Ghost Bear's Legacy (PC), Battlefield 1942 (PC), Fable (XBOX), Jet Force Gemini (N64), Army Men: Sarge's Heroes (N64), BattleTanx: Global Assault (N64), basically all the N64 games to be on all consoles. Stop hogging all the good games Nintendo.
Awsome selection deffo agree with kotor best game ever but other shout outs like origanl fallouts not brotherhood of steel, land of lore 3 would be a great one and need for speed under ground 2 or any of the Lord of the rings games oh god how fucking great
I think the movie licensed Lord of the Rings games from the PS2, XBOX, and Gamecube should be remade tbh. Huge part of my childhood I'd like to see come to modern-day consoles. It would def bring a tear to me eye
