The "highlights" of broken games like AssCreed with all their lame, not funny or creative bugs are getting pretty old.
In fact it's pretty frustrating knowing how buggy full release games like that are in so many different ways...
MH players have always been doing these perfect “dunks” (as we call them) since forever. :) It just takes great knowledge of the game, and damage calculation.
One thing that I know in older MH games, is that poison couldn’t kill a monster. It would indeed lower it’s health, but it wouldn’t deal the “final blow”. So if you play your cards right, you can poison the monster and let the poison take it’s HP even down to 1HP before you perform your sick kill. But it’s still veeery hard to do, since the poison effect doesn’t last for very long and you still gotta attack the monster a lot with a poison weapon in order to actually poison it. lol
And I hear that in MHW this no longer works, which probably means that poison can now kill the monster. Not sure if *this* is actually true though.
MrRawritsAlex ... What? No it doesn't, who gave you that idea? Any quest to hunt a monster can be completed via capture, including multi-monster hunts (you can cap them all) unless it's a non-capturable monster, i.e. an Elder Dragon.
What are you even talking about? That's not how it works at all. Hunt is "slay or capture the monster". Capturing during a slaying quest is failure, even then, you can't fail in this manner in World because the only slaying quests for large monsters, in World, are elder dragons. You can capture in a hunting quest and it works just fine.
well it deals damage but it only deals like 5-7 so tbh this is pretty amazing since u have to be able to tell somehow just how much hp there is left.
Or alternatively when the monster is about to die already and something like a turf war etc would occur since it seems those cannot actually kill a monster but rather leave it at 1 hp
Just caught that I accidentally called the impluse grenade an impact grenade, but I'd rather be wrong and go home at a reasonable hour than re-record the line and have to wait for it to encode all over again.
Sorry about that, please use the space below this comment to make loud noises.
