With the next Pokémon game coming to the Nintendo Switch, people are expecting big things from the series’ first main series home console title. However as Pokémon gets older and older, there are going to be some minor roadblocks that Game Freak will of course overcome. So let’s discuss some of them!

I think generation 4 and 5 will receive remakes but after that, I do not want any more remakes. Making a remake of gen 6 and 7 will be really strange since they're already updated and really nicely made.
the best thing what pokemon could do ist release a gen 1 remake for the switch (im not counting Pokemon Lets Go) and release DLC´s for other regions so you only need to start 1 Game and have every region and story in the game (also if that means i need to pay 300€ for all DLC´s)
6:29 But it's more logical that until we run out of tree names, there isn't going to have more space for regions in the Pokémon Planet, unless they create another planet based on the researches going on about the real life habitable new planets
the problem is that there are too many pokemon. i loved the concept of 151 in the first game but it has beed extended way too much imo. to the point where i don't even bother to catch them all, just as much as i can without letting it be an inconvenience. so i think they should do something like making game exclusive pokemons like limiting the game's pokemons to a certain smaller number. idk
Well the remakes are just so they can 1) make more money (duh) 2) Keep all the pokemon current with game mechanic changes, Gen 4 was the start of all the major modern changes without somehow having all 1000 pokemon in one game.
This vid is a joke right? All the reasons were dumb AF. They havent even showed anything for the next switch pokemon game and you are already saying that its eventually going to suck get the f. out of here. Its a given that they have to change things for remakes , and i would not mind if they made remakes all the way to Ultra sun/moon if they looked like BotW.
One thing that I liked with the older games was the ability to use the pokemon outside of the main games in Pokemon Stadium (and 2). The Pokemon that I trained felt more worthwhile. But I felt disappointed that they never really did much of that. Except Battle Revolution but that was out in 2006 and nothing else like that really came since. I mean you spend all this time training your pokemon, getting your badges and beating the Elite Four... And then thats it. At least with Stadium it made that levelling up more worth it with additional tournament events and cup challenges. Even Gym Leader Castle made the gym challenges appear more challenging.
Sure they eventually added some kind of challenges (Like trainer tower) in the main game. But bringing that whole element into a whole other game definitely made the events, the training and the pokemon feel more special.
You are seriously worried about tree names... dude... no. This franchise will die decades before there are no good tree names left. I spent 3 years studying enviro in school.... tree names are LITERALLY not even of the slightest concern. Professor Alder, Professor Almond, Professor Apple, Professor Cherry, Professor Ginkgo, Professor Hemlock, Professor Holly, Professor Larch, Professor Maple, Professor Olive, Professor Palm... This took me 99 seconds to generate, so dont tell me that "trees" are an issue with Pokemon. They are a real life issue, but not with Pokemon
Srsly though the limitation of Pokemon ideas is really a problem.j mean we have already have Pokemon on cars ,keys ,animals ,plants , legends , myths , gods I mean not much left unless u start making poke humans.....
If there is no remake of gen 4 I will me PISSED because i started with Pearl and playing it on the switch is the one thing keeping me hyped for new games at this point. I WANT MY BABY INFERNAPE TO HAVE A MEGA DAMNIT!!
You kinda missed the main ideas. With more and more games and generations existing, the time between remakes of generations will get longer meaning the time between a generation starting and being remade could be DECADES. Or what about the fact that they'll run out of types, and type combinations and it's not like they can just keep adding types because eventually 100 types will get annoying. Or what about more and more pokemon, and catching all 10K pokemon will take forever. Or what about having to switch up the story template because eventually it could get boring for players, or the game mechanics having to keep up with new trends.
They should have released the demo without the extra data that people can dig through it. So what was game freak thinking they jest put lures in them that they should known that people would dig through to see if anything else they could dig up so if their wasn’t anything there than they would’ve wasted their time I would put a picture in there laughing saying you wasted your time naughty naughty naughty
