How the hell did they make another one?
Also it would be way better if the characters weren't teenagers but detectives or officers trying to crack the deep web, because the first one was terrible with the teenage cast jut being annoying and not relatable
I wonder how much of this footage is not in the actual movie. The first film had stuff in the trailers that didn't end up in the film and I kind of get the feeling that the same thing is gonna happen in this movie.
So it’s Welcome to the Game the Movie, but to avoid being called a video game movie, they made it a fake sequel to Unfriended. Like seriously, and this is coming from a guy who thought the first one was just fine, the only connection this has to the first one is it’s a big found footage Skype call session. But it honestly seems more like Welcome to the Game, where some people try to break into the dark web and get hunted down by assassins, serial killers, etc
Okay so here's 8 things I am going to talk about the trailer.
1. The guy with the ruffled hair looks like Shane Dawson.
2. They just put Dark Web instead of Deep Web.
3. I just realized that there was a SOMA poster on one of the people's office.
4. This movie is getting me vibes of that video game called "Welcome to the Game 1/2".
5. They now have a Cards Against Humanity and a Spotify reference, how fun.
6. They just put copyrighted stuff on the movie, that's why people hated the first movie.
7. God the internet is a difficult place to live in.
8. Now people are having nightmares about being stuck inside of those barrels.
The first movie surprised me. I was expecting a pretty piss-poor movie, but it was actually pretty unsettling and creepy and the internet stuff was handled waaay better than it ever is in movies.
I was expecting this to have some kind of supernatural element, and was glad to see it doesn't but it doesn't look all that great. I don't really have any particular expectations for this one. Just looks like it's gonna be a "meh" movie. Not terrible but not very good either.
So if you've watched the first movie you'd know that the whole fear factor and anticipation is "Who's gonna die next and who'll be the last one to survive?". Yeah they're clearly doing the same thing here except they've literally shown nearly all of the people who will be killed off which basically means they've shown the whole movie
"horror movie" makers try so hard to make scary movies now a days, horror movies from the early 90s and older, those were good horror movies, now a days, for the past 28yrs or so, "horror movies" have been nothing but trash, oh well, i guess each generation has the things theyre good at and bad at.
