Tomb Raider 2
The first Tomb Raider was a huge success and spawned all kinds of fantasies about Lara Croft going naked. That’s probably one of the reasons why the ending of Tomb Raider 2 is so well done. After all your efforts defeating evil and finding treasures, Lara Croft kicks back, relaxes and takes a well deserved shower.
Conker’s Bad Fur Day
Conker’s Bad Fur Day is not shy on jokes and fourth wall breaks. But in this game even the final boss has a hilarious twist. You can clearly see that the developers are big fans of the movie Alien. The Alien is also way too strong. At one point you think you beat it, but it makes a surprise comeback…
Eternal Darkness Sanity’s Requiem
Eternal Darkness is a psychological horror game. And breaking the fourth wall is an essential part of the gameplay. One of the key elements of this game is a Sanity Meter. It depletes when the main character witnesses horrors and it fills up by casting a spell for example.
Kid Icarus Uprising
Ever since Kid Icarus was released on the NES, there has been a demand for new games in the series. This finally came with Kid Icarus Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS. The game is surprisingly lighthearted and this is shown in the game’s dialog. The dialog between characters is not only funny, they also contain hints to help you out during the game and extra information about the story.
Batman Arkham Asylum
With Batman Arkham Asylum we add one of the most memorable gaming moments in recent years. At one point in the game the screen suddenly freezes and crashes like a console that suffered from the Ring of Death. This fourth wall breaking moment sure gave gamers a heart attack.
Pony Island is one of those very unique indie games. The game itself changes all the time, but really messes with your mind when it starts sending you Steam messages. These messages pop up during the encounter with Asmodeus. And Asmodeus even makes the game freeze, including Windows error pop ups.
Metal Gear Solid
Hideo Kojima has done amazing work with the Metal Gear Solid series. The very first Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation 1 has two amazing fourth wall breaking moments we couldn’t leave out. One of them is the most famous fourth wall breaking boss battle ever. Psycho Mantis reads your memory card and makes fun of the games you played.
Another Code: Two Memories
One of the earliest games for the Nintendo DS was Another Code. In the game the main character Ashley also has a Nintendo DS. Yes, it’s the old fat DS. During the game you solve all kinds of puzzles, but one of the fourth wall breaking moments is when the game asks you to actually close your Nintendo DS.
X-Men was a game made by Sega for the Sega Genesis, or MegaDrive as it’s called in Europe. In one of the final levels of the game you find a computer that needs to be reset. However, there are no buttons to press. Nothing can be done. The only computer you can reset, is your actual gaming system!
In Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand you play a vampire hunter who uses a solar gun to take on his enemies. The game has a built-in light sensor that measures the sunlight it is exposed to. To charge your weapon you need to take your Gameboy Advance into the sun.

first game came to my mind... watch dogs... well it is just my bad day... i play that game until one time hacking someone's pc to crash it... at same time... my pc blue screen...
then once at stadium to blow it up... at same time, my power supply blows up with smokes... and lastly to disable the police call, it suddenly kills my phone's reception...
Hell, Banjo-Kazooie *as a series* breaks the fourth wall more times that I can count, including once in the intro to Nuts and Bolts! [The Lord of Games looks at the camera and says "I wish they [Grunty and Banjo] could stay like this, but *I suppose you people would actually like to take part in this game!"]*
The title of the game at number eight doesn't seem correct. My copy of the game for the Nintendo DS calls it 'Trace Memory', not 'Another Code: Two Memories'. Is this a case of renaming to suit different countries, such as 'Biohazard' being called 'Resident Evil' in America or is this one just mislabeled?
Hmm well re2 on game cube had a moment where you'd shoot the screen. With the full sized shotgun and it well say the bullets hit it. Well pellets. Then let's see rogue Galaxy has a few moments as well. When you play for a long time one of the characters will say you need to save and take a break.. if you haven't saved in a while she'll tell you to save. Amd if you just played for a while shell say youve been playing for a while.
To any Undertale fans.. Undertale came out in 2015 and there is comics and fan games but come on. 2 0 1 5 . . . Why... the second one hasn't even been announced and it probably never happen. Don't send hate. Please is my opinion. It came out in 4 years...4........bloody..years.. is a good game but don't go salty.
