The Nyko portable charger/dock is dangerous to your Switch. I can’t believe Nyko is still selling this product. Not only is it flimsy, but there are many reports of people having it burn out their Switches. Another bad product is the powerA wired controller (Walmart was selling these for $17 a piece on Thanksgiving). Works fine for about a month then the left stick stops working. This has happened to me twice – the first one I bought and the second one that I had to exchange it for.
I personally hate the pro controller unfortunately the joycons are far from perfect. Having dealt with the disconnect problem first hand. I have been using the GC controllers and there amazing on the switch and I think Nintendo will be releasing something similar in the future. Although, the comfort grip is my #2 choice in regards to playing the Switch.
Recently got a switch, and I have been playing BOTW a lot on docked mode. I will also be getting (most likely) Splatoon 2 soon. The thing is, I’m on the fence with a pro controller. I think it would be very nice to have and more comfortable than the Joy-Con grip. However, £70 is pretty steep imo (Xbox One controllers are about £35 to £40) and I don’t know if it’s worth it. Should I get it?
Just got mine this week from GAME. I looked pretty much everywhere but GAME seemed to be the only place offering decent bundles. Oddly getting the Neon Switch and physical copy of Odyssey was cheaper than the Odyssey console bundle.
Had my switch since release and using it a lot! But had no problems with scratches on the screen even tho I don't have a case for it yet. I don't understand how people manage to destroy the screen so easily. Maybe I just was lucky and got a super switch lol
Matt skirble definitely. It's sad that they try to rip us off and trick people that know nothing about Micro SD cards. If a clueless mother sees the micro SD card is branded by Nintendo, they'll buy it even though it's twice as expensive
Instead of that platic playstand, I recommend the soft case one that slides on the Switch and gives you three different angles to work with. I got mine for $10. And you're going to need a travel case. They're $20, but they come with a cloth and two little game cases. I also bought a bigger case for $6 at Target. Hope this helps!
