Aidens character is the best that suits the plot..now don't be talking shit about that like he's dull and all other bs. I really liked ws1 and it was a fantastic game..the dullness in the game is what makes it great especially those heavy rain nights😍..
I personally like the first game more(storyline side. gameplay is cool. not as much as 2 though). the simplest way to explain why is to take a look at both main characters and see what they're doing.
Aiden is man trying to avenge his niece's death, so it's no surprise he's more than willing to kill people for it. It's the reason why his character is "dull" as some like to say it(I personally found that a cool thing). He wouldn't care if you're doing your job, if you were jut walking by or if you're just trying to mess around with him. You stop him from what he's doing, he'll shoot you without blinking or thinking.
Marcus on the other hand, is an energetic guy trying to make a difference in the world with dedsec. he's all fun and charismatic and likes to joke around a lot unlike Aiden. but that's what makes seeing him kill people just feel...weird. Imagine having that one friend that keeps parties going on all night just pick a gun and shoot some guards doing their daily boring job. Or try to pick problems with the police and street gangs. it's just completely out of his character, and doesn't make any logical sense.
I did not mind Aidan at all, he cared for his family and whoever fucked with him get's them back in no time, his character was amazing and I did like him for what he was. I still need to play WD2 though so I see how the game works and see if I can get on with this new character.
This is a spoiler alert for watch dogs 1 Has anybody notice that in the beginning of watch dogs 1 you had a lot of friends now when it end you have nobody you kill denim Jorgi runs off some where Clara dies t-bone went some where and her sister had to leave with his nephew and Everytime I play it I feel lonely because I have no one in the game
To be honest people hate aiden because he has a emotionless ego people hated Marcus because he was never took seriously and had a bad rap and somewhat bad story aiden was a character that was 4-10 out of forgettable and Marcus to me was 1-10 forgettable because he was agile and was like a discount deadpool honestly aiden had caught my attention but didn't keep but Marcus did
aiden was my favorite character. they just took most of his personality away after 2012. but when you truly think about it, the game designers were brilliant at making aiden a character. he faced his niece dying. he's seen death. he's been betrayed. so it all makes sense. I loved the *VERY* dark edgy tone gut feeling WD1 gave just for 1 character. incredible game series... even with the downgrade. I'm currently playing and liking WD2 so far as well.
I'm commenting before I watch the video and the way it connects are the same cars, the side mission where you rescue Aiden, sitara saying that what Aidan did in Chicago was huge, Ray from the first one being in San Francisco.
