I feel like they are not paying homage to JPOG. Knowing damn well so far 75% of this game is a direct copy of JPOG with updated graphics and interface. Just not seeing anywhere where the developers say JPOG was a great template.
Anybody remember the Dryosaurs from JPOG? You could let them run around your visitors and they would freakin LOVE it.
Hopefully we get another teeny tiny little plant eater to help boost ratings by being all cute and harmless and running around in people’s ways
Is there a sandbox mode?? The game is pretty and all, but I’m sure many people myself included would rather casually build the park of our dreams without having to worry about time gated scenarios and story missions taking our focus away from the zen of building your park.
Because Operation Genesis was truly a Zen game. So relaxing and so fun.
Here’s hoping Frontier has the foresight to put a casual building sandbox creative mode. If not right off the bat then hopefully it’s at least on Isla Nublar.
Unless Isla Nublar is going to be like Site B in JPOG. Goddamn I hope it’s like Site B. I wanna just watch a massive ecosystem interact. So many different herbivores and carnivores in the wild.
Here’s hoping we can build our parks like a nature preserve too. With the humans behind the fences and the dinosaurs all roaming the rest of the isle. Taking the spheres and hot air balloons out into the preserve. Always the danger of more teeth than they can handle showing up.
Here’s hoping they improve the AI so herbivores will react better to nearby carnivores. Love building naturalistic ecosystems with dinosaurs that would have interacted during their time all living in the same massive enclosures. Better AI would make those so lifelike and just an absolute joy to watch.
But most of all we NEED a Sandbox/Creative mode.
He doesn't need to present like he's a television news anchor. He could just talk. I'm sure it would be easier on him and more easily receivable for us. Like, podcasts and informal let's plays are the thing now.
Lol why would it need a sandbox mode . You two are just unskilled building players who rely on sandbox mode. As a point sandbox mode makes a game’s building capacity and capabilities limited so get over the sand box mode ! 😏
TheMarker2015 L.S The reason they are locked is because there needs to be progression, so there’s something you can work your way up to. Also there are going to be over 40 dinosaurs at launch, maybe even 50, but there are going to be more dinosaurs later on in the game. The island he is playing on though is the starter island so it’s going to be small, but it’s still pretty big in some ways, you just have to clear some of the tree first, but the further you get into the game, you get bigger, and bigger islands, but they would be harder to handle and contain your dinosaurs in.
