These are my favourites:
7.Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps
All Star Batman
Red Hood and the Outlaws
what about martian manhunter? and the justice league dark? will we see them again? see the thing i got with DC is that i don't like their main heroes not being a fan of Superman and after the court of owls losing my interest in batman left me with very few choices
Since 2016 i've been reading all (yes, all) of the new 52 titles. Pretty much the only thing I haven't read yet are the Batman und Superman Titles and the Earth 2 stuff. I've wanted to get into DC Comic Universe for a long time and the new 52 was a great way to get introduced to it (even though there some duds here and there). I just hope by the time I reach the Rebirth stuff they are not just throwing all of the 52 continuity out of the window and leave the new 52 readers in the wind. I really enjoy your content, keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany.
To be honest, I think All-Star Batman did it the best. with the first story ark finished it I think it's safe to say it was my favorite series dc put out this year. The reason being is that I liked the message it was trying to present and I think it did a great job in mixing the goofyness and the seriousness of the Batman franchise. Plus it brought some life into a bunch of old and forgotten Batman characters. Although I will say that dc Rebirth itself is my favorite single issue comic this year. This is mostly because I could truly feel the impact that it's leaving on the dc universe and the characters that live in it. Plus it was a total feels trip.
not getting Christmas prezzies so I just said I'm gonna get some comics gonna pick myself up detective comics and superman maybe wonder woman and the DC rebirth comic and gonna pick up the flash and teen titans
guys i watch your lives but once they are done. i watch them not livre because when you go live its 3/4 AM here and i need to go to work the other day. if you guys would be nice to add the videos to the chanel just like you did before, that'd be great...
Those were all great picks, can't argue with them. For me flash by Josh Williamson's run on the Flash is one of my top 5. I think it ranks right up there with Mark Waid's and Geoff Johns' runs on the character.
So much good stuff from DC! not so sure about King's Batman being better than Snyder's though, I feel like it's trying to smart?
I don't know, Batman has been a really weird book though I do enjoyed the hell of All Star Batman(Two Face is awesome is that)
Personal Fav is Superman with Green Arrow and Flash are second and third.
There's so many good titles from DC coming out, but Titans takes the cake for me. The character relationships are incredibly strong and having a title that focuses on Wally West after so long is fantastic + the are is dependably the best out of any Rebirth book in my opinion in terms of blockbuster style comics.
As a longtime DC fan, this year was like Christmas every week I went to the comic store. so many great titles, but my favorites are:
2. The Flash
3. Green Arrow
6. Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps
7. Wonder Woman
8. The Hellblazer
9. Green Lanterns
Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo had an awesome batman run, one of the best. But I do agree tom king is doing some of the bests work on batman. David Finch and Mikel Janin are both seriously fantastic artists. It is a must read. I read the first two issues of Hal Jordan's GL book and it is epic. I will definately pick up trades. But I'd give Superman serious credit for restoring what Superman should be. He needs to be one of DC's best books and characters. And now he is.
Superman is the best for me. The creative team has knocked every story out of the park with big, bombastic adventures that lovingly pays tribute to the strangest and boldest corners of the DC Universe. I mean, for crying out loud, the Dinosaur Island tribute to Darwyn Cooke was freaking heartwarming. I think the best issue has to be Issue 7 only for it being a simple, character heavy story about the Superman family trying to have a "normal day"; also special mention goes to the prologue where Superman spends all night saving the day and helping people. It's just superb.
