Mortal Kombat (2011) has a PlayScore of *8.63* on PS Vita. The game has not met the requirements yet to have a PlayScore on PS Vita at that time this video was published, hence, wasn't included for ranking.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 wasn't released on PS Vita to be on the list. As reference, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 currently has these PlayScore on:
PS3 - PlayScore of *8.47*
Xbox 360 - PlayScore of *8.19*
Wii U - PlayScore of *8.28*
+Speed King That is unfortunate. I made the mistake of getting one of the PSP ports of a SF Alpha from their store... It's still on there.
I wonder if Sony has honestly forgotten how to make money with run of the mill "provide a desired product" tactics.
the number one should have been in Mortal Kombat until that stuff nobody ever heard of you didn't even have that Justice Gods Among Us on there neither Street Fighter cross Tekken is a good fighting game and Dead or Alive 5 but the rest of that stuff give me a break getting most of that stuff didn't look like real fighting games
@Whatoplay not bad mentions but for for me the top 3 vira games of all time are 3# Final Fantasy Dissidia 2# is your mention aswell :p doa is awesome 1# Def jam Fight for ny the takeover, its psp game ofc but this is the best fucking game when it comes to fighting for all platforms in my opinion ( and im not even into that rap thing) but that is just an awesome game fight like in movies like ong bak undisputed ect is just awesome
+SolarAutumn As of today, Mortal Kombat has a PlayScore of 8.64 and Injustice: Gods Among Us - Ultimate Edition has a PlayScore of 7.73 on PS Vita respectively. Mortal Kombat don't have a PlayScore yet when this video ranking was published, hence wasn't mention on the list. Although, Mortal Kombat was mention on our all time Best PS Vita game ranking. I really enjoy playing Vita games, and fighting games are part of the reason to use a portable gaming console.
If you like 3D fighting games, then I would definitely recommend some great Japanese franchise that may have not listed here (mainly because of not officially released in US), you can check them up on Youtube videos or buy them on Amazon:
1. Gundam series - any gundam game is great! mainly 3 categories: Gundam breaker 1&2, Mobile suit gundam seed, and Shin gundam musou (less pure fighting, more like dynasty warriors)
2. J-Stars Victory
3. One-piece Burning Blood -- upcoming in late 2016
4. Dragon Ball Z --- No.8 in this video
5. Dead or Alive 5+ -- No.2 in this video
Other good games to mention:
Soul Sacrifice Delta -- BEST VITA ONLY AND UNIQUE HUNTING GAME
God Eater 2 -- hunting game
Phantasy Star Nova -- hunting
Lost Dimention -- Unique Manga graphic 3D strategic RPG
NAtURAL DOCtRINE -- Amazing 3D graphic and 3D strategic RPG
Injustice League -- US franchise fighting game
Mortal Combat -- US franchise fighting game
Deception IV -- Tecmo Koei franchise
One PSP fighting game I definitely recommend to play on your Vita system:
Final Fantasy Dissidea (Two versions: original & 012 ) --- highest selling & rating fighting game on PSP with unique fighting system and fantastic storyline, masterpiece of Square Enix!!!
Hope everyone enjoys the Vita experience!
i am a big fan of both smash and psasbr - and by experience if you get deep into both , psasbr is more technical than smash. and just because psasbr is a copy of smash that doesnt mean that the game is bad ¦ [ ¿?
Why is Mortal Kombat and Injustice not here? Did they not make the cut? Dynasty Warriors is a hack and slash game. You also have quite a few beat em' ups. Know your genres, whatoplay. Know your genres.
Musou or Warriors series. It totally created a whole new genre. Starting I think from Dynasty Warriors then we have recent titles adapted to it like One Piece, Gundam, Berserk, Fire Emblem, etc. The list goes on. Fighting games would just refer to versus games now like Tekken, Street Fighter, Dragon Ball FighterZ, King of Fighters, etc.
just because it's your opinion doesn't mean that it's true. it's not a fact that it's a trash game. does it suffers any performance issues? does it has bad graphics? does it has less variety of characters? no. in the end you're just a fucking troll. gtfo
mortal kombat isn't on here but beat em ups are? wtf beat em up is a different genre than fighting games. beat em up implies your fighting waves of enemies but fighting is usually 1v1 or 2v2.
but Playstation all stars is more technical than smash? that's complete bullshit on every level.
+Rapto no, a fighting game is when you and the opponent battle on equal footing with a choice character using moves and attacks to deplete a health bar or advance yourself towards winning in a real time format.
Dynasty Warriors is a an arena hack and slash game and Phantom Breaker is in the Beat-em-up genre. Beat-em-ups are games where you play a character that tackles multiple enemies or opponents in a scrolling stage, prime examples being Streets of Rage and Final Fight. People often mistake beat-em-ups and fighting games, but there is a distinct difference.
Senran Kagura vs. is slightly more on the fence. It is an arena brawler, similar to Battle of Z and Naruto Shippuden and Gundam Extreme Vs. Although you can play these games competitively (Gundam being the most prime example) I don't really consider them fighting games. Fighting games always give you and your opponent equal visual opportunity (neither character is dominant on the screen because you see them at equal distance) whereas these arena brawlers give you an over the shoulder view. This means the opponent is either looking with their character from behind your shoulder or need their own screen or need split screen. The beauty of fighting games is that they don't need that. No one needs their own screen for Street Fighter or Tekken. Sooooo yeah.
+Gabriel Aguillón Lmao you must be a fucking idiot if you think xbox is a good console, its trash kid. I would guess the only games you play are fps and you think you're good too. Learn how to play different games faggot
+Acuiasa I hated how that game did it, I tried it at like level 8 and it made me fight a guy who was level 30, and that was just one problem, they also have attacks that keep you in suck bad stun lock you can't get out from the corner for a second.
