They should also do Jagged Alliance on that engine.

I would like to see someone actually make a zcom mod. Hell wouldn't surprise me if Jake and the rest of the team make a full xcom spin off of the concept

People are gonna purposely kill a squad to get the survivors to be compatible... (myself included)
koolerpure (9 months ago)
the only thing that would make xcom better is adding coop support, how fun would it be having 2 squads or even split the team up and tackle the missions with a friend

Mods for console please!!!
With the edition of the lost, I expect a mod that turns the game into turn based PAYDAY. That would be cool. If I could mod really well, I would attempt to make it.

Yes you can mod this expansion! This is great news because their dlc we're not possible to mod.. Also can't wait to mod it and to see a sistrep of a mission with just chryssalid and so on...

There's a photo booth.... SOLOMON, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING OVER THERE?! I swear, this game is going to become the Sims at this rate.

AnonEyeMouse being able to individually customize your soldiers bunks could be cool.

Erik István Fejes I'd be up for being able to build and upgrade rooms on the Avenger like the Sims...

I love how much information I can get from these interviews.

I thought this game was hard enough. Now I get to love every minute of being bodied by an ASSASSIN THAT CAN KIDNAP YOUR SOLDIER AND STEAL INFORMATION!

One more minute on that couch and Rich would have seduced Dane Cook.

love the game but hate the end game timer can i have a option to get rid of it?
Janer Sulce (9 months ago)
Putting the witcher in the same category as fallout and call of duty speaks volumes of how poor your taste in gaming is As a huge xcom fan I hated the timers they ether did nothing(as in I had ample time to kill everyone) or restricted my enjoyment(didn't let me kill everyone) And the bullshit you spew about reloading not being a viable option or "games that can truly defeat you"(what the fuck kind of garbage is that) one of the hallmarks for a good game is the time it takes for you to give it another try after loosing(hotline Miami, I wanna be that guy, ninja gaiden for the most of it-speaking about the nes ones) What does "restarting checkpoint till you win" mean? Were you talking about the option to evac if a fight is going south? Because if that's what you mean I'm going to blow your mind, running away was an option way back in text based rpgs and almost every game has it Thees days you can make a game hard in exactly 5 ways 1 Make the controls delayed and or slow(dark souls witcher 2 and 3 bloodborn and some others ) 2 Make the terrain traversal tricky , requiring track memorization (shovel knight, super meat boy and a lot of other platformers) 3 Have cheap traps and deaths( dark souls, many; many many indie platformers) 4 And have the game waste your real life time by making replay whole chunks that aren't hard(or as hard) just so you can get to the one hard part (black knight sword the new nier when you play it on the one hit kill difficulty etc )-the worst of the bunch 5 Enemies just have an unfair advantage usually they soak up damage and one shot you(dark souls witcher ect...) So I implore you to explain to me how is xcom a hard game, even playing on ironman almost all of the ways of making it hard are avoided I've never heard of anyone saying that xcom is hard, its random, as in you can have everything done right and still get screwed buy rng but I can't imagine anyone saying its hard or"truly defeat you" Such a stupid thing to say its bewildering

+white wolf While they're not removing the timers for War of the Chosen, they are apparently adding a campaign *option* to double the timer lengths, so you can have 16 - 24 turns to accomplish an objective instead of the current 8 - 12.
Guardsmen4 (9 months ago)
you can double the timer in the expansion xcom always has way to beat you this isn't call of duty/halo/witcher3/fallout 4 were you can just restart checkpoint till you win. think about how many games can actually truly defeat you? these days maybe i am too old but i cherish those games. that being said i will play with extra timer like you i thought was tab bit fast but better than the war sats from xcom Eu/EW which made panic ez mode you can also make the mission timers double as well. there's also an option to double hp on everything in the game xcom and advent
Chuck V (9 months ago)
white wolf yes, there are a few mods in the steam workshop
Welkin Volg (9 months ago)
Are the hero units like the skirmisher a story unit? i mean, can you customize them to be your own soldier, or are they set to default?
Guardsmen4 (9 months ago)
you can customize them like any soldier they just have limitaions being advent for exsmaple they all have the same face male and female ,reapers on the other hand and the templars have much more options for those things but still wear the faction armour
