I wish they would take off the age limit on custom gamerpics
I'm 16, I think I'm mature enough to use custom profile pics. Besides most kids lie about their age (except for me when I first got my Xbox 360 in 2012
The Xbox Game Pass need some huge updates so that you can cancel the subscription from your Xbox Because at the moment if you don’t know how to cancel it and you don’t use it you are wasting £7.99 a month
Not saying anything bad but I would not use buy as a gift yet it needs a lot of fix’s from sending used codes to codes not even doing anything when you redeem them me and friend had this problem we called and they said the code was used he got his money back and tried it with another game and when I try to use the code it closes the store
Great update. It's a shame that every last one of them is an ancient PC feature one way or the other.
6 of them can be done with Steam alone. The 7th is built into Windows because machines have always used energy. The 8th is a subscription that picks my games for me.
oh yea i just realized that they updated the audio for mixer when you live streaming a backward compatible game so you could hear the audio in that game instead of watching a Charlie chapman's film in colour
edit: also looking for group thing has been there awhile ago and also the next achievement feature been there since when the new minecraft was released
edit 2: one thing i hate bout the xbox one is when you buy a new game from GAME or other game stores when you put the disc in it then downloads it and then fills up space and i prefer the 360 whereas everything is done in 1 second you don't have to install your disc, you had a choice if you want to and plus the 360 had more space for loads of games. but on the xbx one i used 74% of my storage cause it downloads the game disc its alright cause it stops the disc spinning risking to game crash but its uses loads of gbs i only have 4 disc games i got downloaded and the other 5 i deleted cause i rarely play them and they took some much space. but i hope when i get the next xbox ones i hope it will be better
Why did they change the dashboard again I got my Xbox for xmas 2014 and it has changed like 8 times since then. Why cant Microsoft make up their mind about which dashboard to use I noticed this because I switched to PC in November and have not played my Xbox since then.
For those of you who dont know. You can only get achievements when your online. Microsoft thought that would be a great idea. That is the stupidest idea ever. Offline guess what your losing 85% of the console features
Cyrribrae yeah, you're right , but they should do something about it. I mean there should be some improvements into servers like doing something about xbox live... couse there are even free games which you can play , but if you don't have live you cant
Uhh. No? The price of games doesn't include the ongoing costs of maintenance and running servers. Maybe ongoing things microtransactions, but no one likes thinking about that. I'd rather pay money for a good service than whatever Nintendo is doing, for example.
FYI, I suggested the various Turn Off times between 1 and 6 hours as a Preview Dashboard Alpha member. Reason: 1 hour was too short to allow some game downloads to complete while 6 hours was way too long in most cases. Now I can select an appropriate intermediate shut off time and leave the console unattended to complete the download so it's ready to go the next time I turn on the console.
New to Xbox (One). Only purchased it because I had extra money and didn't have one. Want to know a few things. Can movies purchased online be downloaded to system locally? Can digital movie files stored locally on external hard drive (my digital movies not ones purchased online) be played from Xbox? Can an external hard drive be plugged in for extra game storage? Why does it take forever to install a game from physical copy (xbox one game not 360 game)? System acts like it is disconnecting from internet and when it does it seems like local install also stops during that time. Would it be faster to install from local disk if I disconnect it from online? Is there an easy way to disconnect from online other than unplugging internet cable? So far the immediate negatives I have are it looks like system doesn't have built in wifi (I may be wrong?), system is trying to look and run like a PC (I NEVER wanted my consoles to be a PC), It goes to browser for simple account settings (should just be local system function without it going to browser).
1-depends where you bought the movie, 2- Yes they can but youll have to download an app for it to do so. 3- yes, but has to be a 3.0 external drive. 4- its the disc drive its downloading the entire game, sill youre right takes too long. 5-go to settings and to net work and network settings click go offline. 6-yes does have wifi go to network settings. 7-youre not wrong it should be local
lancer255 actually your a lier and just found someone who had experienced first hand the pain of cross region gifted games. It region locks it and says contact the seller and contact Microsoft support and you can't use it unless someone from the other region games shares it.... So you were wrong where did you get this info did you just guess the answer. It says on screen that the game isn't from your region and locks it. Another way of getting around it is maybe changing your whole account to that region but that's it. Maybe you were confused or maybe thought about it wrong but it doesn't work.
