Sooooo question.... I've basically played Skyrim until I honestly can't play it any longer I'm really looking for something new. Does anyone possibly know of a game that is sort of a fantasy Style and has a really cool character creation section and intriguing gameplay maybe something along the lines of Skyrim but different I'm definitely ready for a change for a oil while at least.
PhoenixHunterVII ESO sucks. Don't waste your time. I am hopping around Bethesda games because I really love their gameplay style, but I'm getting bored with fallout 4. I think doom is next on my list to buy...not sure if this is helpful, but I can relate. I love skyrim, but we desperately need another ES game.
So far its been a very disappointing year. The best games were ones that were a last minute successful surprise. For Honor Halo Wars 2, Mass effect and Prey all managed to lose the £40 i was sure i would spend on them after showing how painfully average they were, whilst Horizon and Nioh (Both PlayStation games HAHA) - 2 games i barely heard of until early this year, got my hard earned cash. Thanks Xbox, your disappointing year has so far saved me around £250 :D
Here's hoping Shadow of War and Battlefront 2 aren't huge disappointments too.
Maybe it's just cause I don't care for Jrpgs and super hard Soul type games, but I really don't see the whole Xbox doesn't have any games mentality the net has. Uncharted 4, Until Dawn, and Horizon are the only big exclusives I care about on PS4 so far. You want a lack of games look at a Nintendo platform. As long as both Sony and Microsoft get mostly the same third party support I think it just comes down to personal preference on which of the handful of exclusives you prefer. Halo is my favorite game so Microsoft will always win that battle for me.
I love xbox it's my perferred console but this year....I mean c'mon you guys even you had to put games that aren't even out yet on this list.....Sea of Thieves?.....really?.....I mean could you just.....not....right now? We all know Zelda and Horizon, Nier, and Nioh, hell even Dragon Quest 8 and Tales of Berseria were better than some of the games on this list. but I guess you gotta protect the brand.
At this point in time, it maybe worth waiting to see how much and when the Scorpio will release. Saying that though, you could pick up an XB1s for a very reasonable amount - in the UK you can pick up one for under £200 - that's cheaper than the Switch and PS4 Slim. You could also trade it in against the Scorpio too. You are unlikely to get your full money back but you can enjoy gaming and a 4k HDR bluray player for the 6months or so before Scorpio releases
* For Honor - played both betas & it's deffo awesome to play.
* Halo Wars 2 - played the demo & even though I don't really play these kind of games, it's a great game to play though.
* Prey - played the demo & damn, for a horror game, it's scary, but really good to play though.
* Ghost Recon Wildlands - again I've played the betas and fair to say, it is a great game to play.
* Resident Evil 7 - only played the teaser demo and even though it was quite scary, it's a awesome game to play.
Its bad when Mass Effect is in the top 3...
Best game of the year so far is Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh is great too. As for best Xbox games, Forza Horizon 3 and Gears 4 - nothing worth playing this year (so far)!
To be honest: Mass Effect Andromeda is not bad. I have played all Mass Effect Games (the original and Mass Effect 2 twice) and i think the main problem is the lack of imagination while creating Andromeda. First, it should have interesting aliens and things to explore, second the y could have added something related to starships. Third, a better story. The gameplay is great, but it feels a little bit bland. To me, it is something between a 7,5 and 8. There are worse games. Halo Wars 2, for example, feels like a 6,5 to me and other franchises keep its quality in very low levels. So Mass Effect Andromeda is one of the best games released this your in Xbox, even thought not great.
+BAMozzy yeah won't matter Xbox need only get out the word that all multiplats run better on M. Doesn't mean Sony won't have any exclusives but based on money spent I doubt it. Plus whatever MS show should outright look better in head to head. GT sport vs Forza 7 won't even be close.
Sucks they can't differently advertise those games but DF will level the field post show
Each to their own of course. As for Sony scooping up all the 3rd Party games, in truth we don't know what games could be released as it seems Sony prefer the Q1/2 for their big launches anyway but could still have Spider-Man or Days Gone. Not only that though, when it comes to advertising, all the big games will also be shown on PS4 whilst the Xbox will be limited to what it can show.
