I love how I bragged to my friends about my Mortal Kombat X skills and then after twenty six games of not a round or match lost as Erron Black, Lou Kang, and Triborg (smoke) and then my opponent finally picked alien... I got button mashed and couldn't do anything until I finally cheesed her with Lou Kang
Oh. The rage quit. When your kid is playing cod bops3 with his friends and you join the game. 3 min into nuke town you activate ripper in their spawn and chain kill all 6 of them 3 times in a spawn trap. And all of them rage quit (except my kid cause he gets his PS4 controller confiscated if he does)
Yes, that is a grounding offence in my house
*I can SO relate to THIS!! My 5 Year old Son uses Rash against any of the Characters that I'm fairly skilled with in Killer Instinct (XBOX One S) and mashes those buttons until be beats me into a soggy pulp. I can't get out any of the fancy moves that I know by heart ♥!! Rash will be all over me like a cheap suit!!* 😭
When campoIng was talked about I thought about the hours worth of content I could make of me calling people camping ***** ****** *******************... I could make a year long video and still have more post filled with swears call outs and fights
i don't think this would be considered bad etiquette, but Baiting really makes me mad sometimes. Best example i can give is from the dinosaur game, The Isle. Basically someone walks up to you and friendly calls you, acting all nice just to get in close, and then kills you. I just get so mad at that, even if it happens to someone else, its irritating. KOS can also get my blood boiling, but it doesn't make me as mad as baiting
9:00 Okay I'm gonna be honest, I'm the type of person that finds it difficult to get upset about trash talking aimed my way if the person doing the trash talking actually puts some effort and creativity into it. If it's creative enough I tend to want to compliment them on it, actually.
League of legends match doesnt go well
Jungler feeds like hell
I'm doing decent, but we're losing. Suddenly, out of nowhere
Jungler: "Oh my god this midlaner sucks so much, must be cuz she's a girl. Uninstall noob girls suck at league"
Though Ive learned to just mute all players at the start of a match. Works better
Also i would snatch that 'British Biscuits' and chuck it down my throat like the Sniper who killed me on Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare who was camping under the map and shot me in the throat. Shortly after, he got banned ;)
Opposite of trash talking when you load up an old game that i was formerly very good at but now only know the basic controls shared with most other games (walk, look, run and shoot) then someone who is playing with me runs a personal little tutorial for me. Sadly I still don't know how to message them to thank them, that was not taught to me.
Eating without either muting the mic or otherwise positioning it so it's not so obvious. Ffs, no one wants to listen to you destroy a bag of Doritos while we're trying to focus and communicate effectively! Okay, we're mostly just bullshitting instead of effectively communicating, but still!
I'm definitely guilty of this 1 turning on some music cranking up the volume then putting the mic up to it just because there's someone in the lobby/room/server/hotel room/what ever that doesn't like that type of music . Was in a league on gt5&6 everyone hated when I won a race they had to listen to Bushwick Bill .
My brothers and I decided that button mashing/mashing/smashing is pressing random buttons and spamming is when you just constantly use Noob in Mortal Kombat to smash your opponent into the ground from 20 feet up.
got you beat, I use my right leg to pry open the second door while simultaneously holding the first one open and standing on one foot hoping the floor hasn't been cleaned recently to the point of being just slick enough I can put almost all my weight on it but still fall over slowly all the while maintaining an awkward smile and huffing "no problem".
I'm gonna have to disagree on the notion of camping here. What you described is a completely legitimate way of playing a sniper which, if the game is balanced properly, will not be frustrating but rather create engaging gameplay for everyone else involved. (Well it can still be frustrating, but mostly if you can't adapt or are a sore loser)
Well I wouldn’t say that all of these are bad I mean me and my friends taunt each other as a joke and tee bag and other things like those that you listed and me and my friends only do t to each other in private matches and we all know it’s a joke
I remember my first online battle in a strategy game, I was a total noob and they let me in the team so I could troll def.
So I switched up my defense units every second and did a good job at keeping the enemy team from hitting the base and getting good points. They were not happy.
What about people who flame their teammates? It only makes them play even worse, so why would they flame them over any and all small mistakes? That's especially the case in league of legends. That and giving up before too quickly. :p
if a fighting game didnt want you to win simply by button mashing then it shouldnt let them do it. my friend goes on and on and on about how skillfull and amazing fighting games are that its 100% skill and genius, which is all bullshit XD because even after playing that game for a year, I managed to beat him over and over and over just mashing one button, so much for skill and genius. because its not, you can just button mash and win, its teaching a lesson
Spamming should earn you a lose in a fighting game as it is unfair it should also change your gamer tag to wimpy. just saying.
Also to all the people saying camping is a strategy sitting doing nothing until another player walks by isn't a strategy a real sniper I'm sure would move to the area where a target would be not a mile away.
