I agree partially.
Getting ports of 6-7 years old AAA games could be problematic for mid to long-term Switch future,if there is little to no NEW AAA games.
However, that's only the case if we are talking about docked home console mode.
If we are talking about portable handheld console mode, well, that's completely different story in my opinion.
Gameslord yeah one old port of a mature game is so tempting for me to buy a 300$ console rather than a 500$ pc that can run millions of old games as well as upcoming games that are going to be way cheaper......
And i don't give a fuck about gaming on the move.
I have all 3 major consoles and am def playing more switch at the moment . It’s just the most enjoyable . Zelda and Mario Odyssey ? Those 2 also . Oh and very excited to replay la noire and Skyrim / doom !
I wish Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft would do away with these indie mobile phone games for good. I see no point in having these on these platforms. Just have AAA games only and if I want to play indie games I will do so on my phone or tablet. No thanks.
oh my gosh there is too many great games for my wallet! just got my switch got BOTW Splatoon 2 and getting Mario. there are so many third party titles to choose from that i dont even know anymore what to buy
No physical version for Rocket League, Terraria, The Escapists 2, Portal Knights, Minecraft and a bunch of other games?
Why do so many games just release in Eshop and not as physical versions like they do for most/all other platforms?
SwitchPlanet Thanks for answering me! Then I‘d be happy with paying about 5 dollars more, I wouldn‘t mind that, Nintendo‘s retail versions doesn‘t cost more than the digital versions/copies too, but this is something different.
And when the retail versions sell better then, it would be worth it, I guess.
*Admit that this video if I feel like going to buy a Switch right now. Personally, here I have seen titles that are enjoyable to play, such as Hollow Knight, Sonic Forces, Super Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem and others. I do not say it for being the most popular and letting myself be carried away by the dough, but it really does look fresh and addictive.*
*-now to wait for December for my Switch :ccc-*
You know when they first released the system I was all about the third-party support I was all about winning games like Forza motorsports or destiny nba 2k or any other games. micro transactions have gotten so out of hand I don't want those games anymore I don't trust those companies anymore and I will NOT support those companies until they stop trying to rip people off and trying to sell games at full price for half finished products. Enough is enough and that you're coming at me with a full completed game for $60 you can suck my dick fuck all those companies. None of this is gonna stop til everyone refuses to buy these games or support those companies
So many of these, including some notably major ones like Rocket League, still don't have dates. I wonder if Nintendo is planning another direct... I imagine they want to advertise the crap out of these games and let everyone know once they lock down the release dates.
