Having your parents walk in on you playing a multiplayer game, and then trying to explain it to them while your friends can still hear you. Like "No mum, I can't just pause the game, my friends need me!"
1- i never play multiplayer games i only play single player ones
2- yup have been there ... and i couldn't believe the situation i was put into
3- NEVER NEVER *NEVER* play with younger kids ... or go to stupid parties for tat matter!
4- that is why .,..... (this may sound really disgusting but) ... thanks god i have no grandparents all of them have died. i don't have to face this.
5- look at number 1 ... if you wish to enjoy a game play it single player. multiplayer games = you have no control over ANYTHING!
6- thanks for adding another reason to stay single forever mate... :) or never get married to begin with it at all bro ^_^ gaming freely! no in laws.
7- that is why you keep your stats offline permanently! and only switch them when you wish to do so. besides what is it for them? i mean you have the right to play alone as you wish. your problem is you "justify" you don't need to justify gaming is gaming. besides SOTC is disgusting.
social life itself is hard as is, and gamers are the biggest losers in it unless its cyber obviously. but it's even better to avoid multiplayer games altogether, and why not have an alias account without ANYONE added you login to it whenever you wish to have private alone time? staying anonymous even if online is not too hard! and staying anti-social is even easier were you to LEARN how to do it and since you like learning the hard way not the easy way, it's honestly your problem alone.
Me watching this video:
2. No (developed spatial awareness of family back in my anime days).
3. Yes. Brother is lousy and absolutely *hates* losing.
4. I don't even bother.
5. I avoid online typically.
I was playing a game with a kid and oh my gosh, I actually was trying to loose, missing attacks and he kept walking into each one. He was so bad my mom got annoyed with me saying for me to let him win.
So you know that moment in Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the wild when link dresses up as a girl and it shows that cutscene where you get to check him out. Well then my mum walks past and she be like "WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING?!"
Hanging out with friends, family, or other folk that aren't gamers, getting tossed into a game with them (Happened a lot with Melee to me back in the day, also assorted Mario Karts.) and just... being comparatively too good at the game so that you now look like a lifeless loser who "must play this all the time." ='( (You don't, said friends just haven't ever really played it, but you're sure as hell not going to turn around and tell them that "you're not that good", or "it's really just an easy game", or that "they're just kind of bad at it" or something similar.)
Also, any and every time you're not sure if voice chat is on / that soul freezing moment when you wonder if you've been dropped into voice chat with a bunch of strangers automatically, or a rando has somehow been added to your teams chat, and they've been hearing everything you said for the past however many minutes. (Even more stress if you're a woman. Special triple bonus stress levels if you're a woman and you've been playing badly that game/round. ;_;)
What about the moment you pre ordered Breath of the Wild, come home from work from the movie theater, play it for a little over one hour. Mom comes home, have to set down the game, go out to dinner, take her to watch La La Land(very long movie) last show. Come home and sleep because it's really late.
This is why I'm so much happier living life without social interactions! It used to be I had difficulty maintaining friendships until I realized I am FAR happier without them. Met my lady, dated her, put a ring on it, and she is all the social interaction I will ever need again ever.
No, no, *NO!* You *never* "let the kid win" because they *do* need to learn how to lose properly, and that there are always people out there that are better than them. The key is to just beat them by a point(sports), go full 3 rounds or use less fave characters(fighters), or my favorite: always tie every tic-tac-toe game! It gives the kid the *illusion* s/he's competing, and makes him/her try harder to improve!
What makes them cry is trouncing them 4 nil, while telling them how much they suck, and scoring with your keeper.😅
Once in my German class the teacher asked me what do I like to do, I answered that I like to play video-games,then she asked what Is my favourite game,I said Skyrim, then she asked what do you do in that game.I wanted to avoid talking the story so I said "You just kill dragons"
These always crack me up, I love it! I always stay up way too late because I just have to get to the next little part... and the next one... let's just try and get this trophy first, with 2 hours sleep I just don't wanna have to deal with making conversation in work - that's when I haven't pulled a sicky... for a week lol
I can relate SO much to the second one. When parents walk in at the most unlikely, embarrassing bit. The worst one for me was during a scene in mass effect 3 when commander Shepard is having weird alien sex with a crew member. Boy was that one hard to explain
When you stay up all night playing games by accident and someone gets up and you either half to quickly go to your room ,act like everything’s fine, lie, or hope they don’t care about you playing games at 6am
My mom sat to my room and watch me play Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Yknow how much fanservice/sexual references there are? Well, the few characters i had had some revealing clothing, i kept moving so she wouldn't look. Soon a cutscene featuring one specific character happened, and I quickly skipped it. Luckily she didn't start complaining.
