I just gotta ask is No Man's Sky even fun it feels like nothing really changed. I like survival, open world games but it feels like nothing is different is it just me or have I not played it enough to really get into it?
I'll have to warn you though, the crafting system is heavily reworked and there's a ton more grinding to do. Whether or not you'll be able to find something for you to enjoy in the game is entirely up to you. There's a lot of things you can do in the game now, instead of just mining and mining like before. To be honest the only thing missing from NMS right now is actual, real-time space battles. Frigates against frigates, flagships against flagships with spacecraft duking it out. I also highly recommend playing the game with friends on multiplayer. Personally I haven't tried the mode yet, I'm a singleplayer sucker, but I definitely bet it's infinitely more fun than being alone!
You haven't played enough to get into the meat of things yet! The core No Man's Sky gameplay has not changed but it is improved. I'm a long time player, I've been supporting the game since release. Right off the bat after I installed the Next update I already noticed a lot of things that are different from Atlas Rises. You REALLY have to try it, and sink a few more hours. You can command a fleet of frigates from your freighter (if you're lucky and you save a freighter from pirate attack, you MIGHT be offered the whole fleet by their commander you just saved). The mission system is addicting as hell and it caters to the 4 main playstyles (which are mining, exploration, combat, trade). If it still doesn't catch you, then I don't know what else will.
Why do morons like you with no knowledge post misinformation? Here is a link to the original video and also a comment by the person who shot the video mentioning the mod he used:
And his comment about the video, and the mod he used:
For me, the mod that did it was one that was SUPPOSED to reduce the wanted time from 60 seconds to 30 seconds...unsure if it was broken by the patch like the Jetpack mod, or if it was intentional. Either way, it was great.
Incidentally, I was incorrect about the mod used for this video, as can be seen from the quote, above, from the person who shot it. However, the quote also mentions the jetpack mod that does the same thing, which I was talking about in my original response.
Finally, the game is based on procedural generation, not RNG.
