Lost Sphear is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Tokyo RPG Factory and published by Square Enix. The game is the second to be developed by Tokyo RPG Factory, and considered a spiritual successor to their first title, I Am Setsuna. The game was released in Japan in October 2017, and is scheduled for release in January 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows in North America, Europe and Australia.
I was excited for this game, but is the story worth the play through?
Playing 'Suikoden' for the first time right now. Suikoden is a different type of jrpg, but still fun. Is this better than Suikoden?
I never played I am Setsuna but i was kinda interested in this game. Unfortunately, it released at the wrong time. I just bought digimon Story Cybersleuth 2 last week and thats going to keep me busy for awhile. Then Ni No Kuni 2 will be here in less than 2 months.
This game seems to be more interesting to me than I am Setsuna. I really hate when people use the "Chronotrigger" tag to compare their games because that will just cause me to be more bias toward said game. I am going to try out the demo and judge it on its own merit (hopefully without bias...there's never gonna be another game like Chronotrigger to me). Anyone have any idea on the average length of the game?
Looks good, but the price tag seem a bit high. Yeh only 49.99, but I feel like it should be 39.99. Just does not seem like a $50 to me, even $40 I think is pushing it. Just does scream "big budget so big price" to me.
For us in Canada it’s 80$ lol but I would never buy this cuz to be honest it doesn’t look good an also I played the demo on my switch an did not like it he price point is high because it’s a scam they trying to use the high price point to make customers think it’s a full premium rpg experience that has a lot of hours in it but no it isn’t it’s like no mans sky hype it up but do a half assed job it already has bad ratings an heard it’s worse then I am setsuna which also didn’t do very well I hope these developers kind of drift away I am a fan of jrpgs like persona 5 an stuff but I hate this gimmick scam type rpgs
YuichiGames You haven't even played it to know how much content & how much you'll enjoy it yet. Big budget doesn't mean it's worth it's release price & vice versa.(see Law Breakers, Battle Borne, Star Wars Battle Front 2, ect)
Kay Win Lim not really there are some rpgs that are ported an cost much less an offer better story an gameplay like final fantasy games an dragon quest an there are others, lost sphear charging almost same price as triple aaa titles is a joke not to mention this game looks poorly made
Jon Idoncair I know eh lol u know this is why I hate some indie games if their previous game has some success it will go to their heads an they’ll try to milk their next game which they don’t really try on an slap on a full price tag I swear no mans sky pretty much started that trend of charging indie games full price same as block buster games
