According to Bethesda, you're going to be waiting years upon years for Elder Scrolls VI. Since that is the case, I have compiled a list of other Role-Playing games that can satiate your thirst for the title! I'd love to hear some of your suggestions as well as thoughts on the games I have recommended!

I have played the Origins, and I am playing Elder scrolls for 21 years. I hate The witcher 2 it´s nothing like books. Won´t even try number 3. I recommend Riddick Escape from Butchers Bay and does anyone remember the Dungeon Master, sweet?
I've played Skyrim for more than 1000 hours and I LOVE it, but I think that the Dragon Age series is superior story wise. The world of Skyrim feels very static and unresponsive in comparison and I hope this will be addressed in the next game... DA Origin is a masterpiece, but the other two are also very very good (DA 2 and Inquisition - I HATED Inquisition at first but the game turns out to be very good after the first act).
The video started with dragon age origins witch Matty said that this is his favorite of the series. Already won my like on that. I finished that game over 30 times and its gorgeous, by far the best of the series and one of the best rpg's that I ever played. Deeply recomend playing it with the dlc's thoutgh.
All these games look unplayable to me. I just have way higher gaming standards than this. Maybe the witcher 3's quality is up to par but who wants to be that white haired guy? That's not an RPG to me, that's a role forcing game.
i wouldnt use the term "higher standards", i would say more "picky standards". The Witcher 3 is an AMAZING game. The story-telling is incredible, side quests actually feel like MAIN quests, and they feel like they have purpose. Theyre not just a bunch of "fetch" quests.
you should rename this to Until cyberpunk is out, also persona 5 is better >.> and i played them all, as for kingdom hearts, well growing up from the movies? there are alot of characters from games too not just disney movies or shows, ff8 ff7 ff9 etc, I also do not recommend darkest dungeons for people who have a taste for games like zelda botw skyrim fallout witcher etc.
One of my best moments in Darkest Dungeon,
I was going through a hard/Large dungeon. I still had Dismas and Reynauld, and I was getting RNG screwed. I entered the last fight with everyone at full health and I missed and got critical hit quite a bit. I had two people on deaths door and Reynaulds stress hit 100 and he got a resolve check. Then instantly crit with holy lance and it was just one of those moments where, I shed a tear of delight.
dragons dogma has fast travel.. it is just very different. you will find stones that u can place anywhere u want which you then can fast travel to, and it stays there permanent. Just spread them out across the map
Play the dragon age games. That is all i would recommend. If you can find origins with all the dlc incl awakening then get it. People like to hate on DA2 and while i would say it is perhaps the weakest of the three i would say it's still worth playing and inquisition is a great game and you can get the deluxe edition with all the dlc for that pretty cheap now. Origins is one of the best RPG's ever made and inquisition is the best both mechanically and visually and beats vanilla skyrim in almost every aspect. DA2 is still a good game though. These three games and their dlc's are all i recommend. They will keep you going for months.
Oh, i almost forgot the fable games. Especially 1 and 2. They are pretty good. The spells and the renown (good/evil) system are the best things i liked about those games.
Also play oblivion if you've never played it (Especially with mods) and shadow of mordor and shadow of war.
If you like hack and slash then the darksiders games are fantastic and i heard dante's inferno was a good one.
A mix and match of genre's there, not all necessary RPG but they are still great games with fantasy/mythical themes.
It's sad that kingdom hearts can only be played on console. I remember when I first played kh2 . Go through in two weeks. After I saw the final credits rolling in, I started to cry because it was over .
I might install a ps2 emulator on my PC and play it with a controller
