Getting the soundtrack stuck in your head....this was me after playing Persona 5 ONCE. Then I played it 8 more times. I heard it on the bus, walking to work, just so my mundane life could sound more EPIC.
I'm guilty of reading the novels... but I have reasons! I didn't have consoles because they were too expensive and pc games were controlled by my mother ("my daughter playing Diablo? Satan will consume your soul!") when I was younger and so the second best thing near were the books/comics of the games I wanted to play. Then I found ways of listening to the soundtracks while reading and only after I became an adult I was finally able to have consoles and play the games I wanted.
The problem is: I still read the books first because it motivates me to get in game to certain parts of the books that I liked.
I can definitely relate to Nathan on hearing enemies from a video game, I was playing a lot of LoZ botw and I was walking around outside I could have sworn I heard the beeping that the guardians make when they're about to attack and I looked around as if I was gonna actually see one aiming a lazer of death at me
I had four PCs networked -- two in my house and one each in the houses either side, courtesy of buried Cat 5 -- so that my mates and neighbours could play Warcraft 2 almost non-stop. Other neighbours called the police on us twice. But we played so much that all of us dreamed about the game in the few hours we slept. I bet we probably shouted stuff like "Yes, me Lord" and "I come to serve" in our sleep, but of course none of us had girlfriends so the question shall remain forever unanswered.
Seeing things of the games in real life: for example red colors are more bright and attract my attention after playing mirror edge, when i see pigeons on a roof or a truck with hay pass by i think about AC xD there are other examples but i can't think of them right now
I love my games and it drives my fiancee nuts when I buy the collector's editions for certain series but I love the little things that come with it. I dream about my games and I hear the music sometimes. Yes I'm obsessed with my games.
I have a Last Of Us pull over Hoodie, Last Of Us Zip up hoodie. Have Joel and Ellie as my screen saver on my phone and IPad. Read American Dreams Comic and the icing on the cake my daughter is called Ellie ( so in effect I do have my daughter on my phone and IPad) 😂😂
A game that’s so good that makes you experience EVERY MEDIA IN THAT GAME FRANCHISE. I played gta 4 once and boom 5 months later I have played every single gta game and dlc. Played mass effect 1 for the first time? Finished all 4 mass effect games, read all the books, saw the aiNimated movie. I’ll go onto Wikipedia to make sure I’ve experienced the entire world 😂
I started drawing because of Undertale, I have a Phantom Foxy pop figure as my first game merchandise ever bought, constantly have the Skyrim or the Witcher theme in my head and my phone wallpaper used to be Asriel until I changed it to the 11th Doctor. Heck I had to create the front of a map for school and had a drawing of Storyshift Asriel and Chara on it!
well it seems rather dirty, but i was inspecting special bodyparts of myself more often, then catholics would allow to, after lara croft exposed her hilarious special grafics!
why didnt made this into special fridays feauture, dave?! / uuukh
After i finished all 4 endings in fallout 4 i thought i could save in real life, like if i needed to make a serious decision and it turned out to be bad (a fight i can't win) i would go back to my previous save too make the right decision
I guess I been loving the Final Fantasy series too much (though I only played a few entries) VII is my favorite game of all time. XV is One of favorite Final Fantasy games in the series. (DON'T HATE ME FOR THAT!) That's how I love the series too much.
Uhm...I made everything, with Assassins Creed (mainly Ezios Story), I'm also planning to get a tattoo of the Assassins creed II logo...read the novels as well and have some merch as well...It isn't my phone or desktop wallpaper, but I made a screenshot of that opening scene of AC II when you're on the tower together with Federico and the logo shows up...and I'm pretty much listening to various forms of the sountrack throughout my day. I just wished Assassins Creed would go back to this, instead of Origins(which I also like, but not that drawn to it) and Odyssey. I must do something creative with Ezio though, though I suck at drawing and writing...
1: Collecting as much merch as I can.
2: Constantly feeling the need to tell everyone about it.
3: Waking up a few hours early to play it before something important.
4: Making artwork from the game my phone's wallpaper
5: Always watching YouTube videos of it (playthroughs, etc) just to see if people have the same reaction's to the game as me (and if they don't, they will pay) 😂
6: Having to force myself to try and think about something else
7: Acting as if I'm my favourite character in real life.
I remember playing infamous & after I completed both good & bad karma play throughs I bought & rtn'd 1 used game after another, completely dissatisfied with every 1 of them.
I was beginning to lose hope until a gamestop employee recommended Red dead redemption goty. I was like, westerns r so not my thing. She said trust me, me neither. U can always rtn it. I said ok, fine. .I am very grateful to her. 1 of the best games ever. Excited for sequel.
I felt that way about destiny (d1, of course). Tried to bring my love over to d2 but they just kept stomping all over it.
Shortly after warmind released, I realized the 10 yr plan they had & I expected to go along for had ended right there. RIP orginal bungie. F u new bungo.. & yes I have gobs of merch.
