lol,. I am so sick and tired of seeing most comments have nothing to do with the video content, but either about stupid arguments or something else, like about the ads. i don't think that creators have a say on how many ads get added to their videos. i believe it has to do with the length of them.
Not interested in any of these. I long for a fantasy RPG in an absolutely huge open world with an advanced skill and craft system. Tons of dungeons and delves. Elite and world monsters to kill which you can capture skills from. Traveling around the world and discovering new and rare ingredients or metals for better amor and potions. Difficult mobs with advanced AI and tons of skills which they use on you instead of the mundane mobs that exist today. Base building where you can research the many different crafting professions, create and improve your amor and upgrade your buildings. AI companions which you can either equip with amor and weapons to come and fight with you in dungeons or set them to research/make things on your base. I wish I could find a team to help me make a game like this.
Every single one of these games looks like absolute shit. Games seriously suck now, idk what happened. Game devs think if a game looks good that's all that matters, it's actually the opposite, games with with the best mechanics, balance and addictive gameplay are the best. I could play CoD2 and CoD4 forever, there's few games i could say that about today. BF1 is pretty good but still feels over done. I think they need to go back to basics and prioritize mechanics and balance above everything else. Reskin CoD2 like halo anniversary and it will be a best seller guaranteed.
So a total waste of open world and vehicles by making a boring race SIM, then a remastering of a good game from years ago , then zombies the most boring un original crap possible .and constant glorification of doom gloom and apocalypse from a naive sheltered imagination...no originality wish I'd got into game deving its sad to see our amazing computers wasted. Pirate game looked potentially fun skull and bones not so much
Because before GTA there was System Shock, allowing you to move through the gameworld at leisure. Granted, just the spacestation and in 2 the spaceship, but it was freeroam. Before that, there was Elite. It had an entire universe for you to do as you pleased. Well before any GTA ever existed. If you mean no levels, must be a city on planet earth then yes, GTA may have been the first. But in allowing players to roam free through the gameworld, then no. And even then: GTA 1and 2 had different "levels" of sorts. GTA 3 iirc (correct me if I am wrong) had artificial limits in place, like San Andreas, when the game starts. There were games earlier that did not have those.
Open Wolrd games I like are STALKER, Mafia, Elder Scrolls (not Skyrim), Witcher, Two Worlds, Dragons Dogma, Dragons Age, Gothic, Fallout (not Bethesda's Fallout)
so, it seems nothing interesting in 2018 for me
