About the Nyko grib... It's not the grip that's wearing but the joy cons but since the grips itself wasn't very strong to begin with if the joy cons get worn they start slipping. I happen to get a brand new pair of joy cons after my current ones started slipping and the new snapped in like the whole setup was new.
Still a major issue but I want to get specific about it.
The standard grip isn't that bad but I also don't play hours on end in one sitting. So I never found a need for a charging grip nor a grip with padding. Although I do like the idea of the space in the front to store games like the one you showed. I do have a 3D printer but haven't tried to make new grips for the joy cons yet.
An app on your smart device for communication WHILE PLAYING the game is just fucking stupid. I REALLY hope Nintendo will listen to the community about this and just either make using the app optional or just get rid of that feature all together. No one wants that bullshit and if they do its has to be a super tiny tiny tiny number of people. What a dumb fucking idea to use a goddamn smart phone for communication while gaming. Just fucking stupid.
i have large hands and have zero issues with the grip controller. people whining about it and the d-pad are WAY too sensitive to minor changes. I play sonic mania, and many other platformers JUST FINE with the 4 directional button set up. the complaints on this system are REALLY minute bitches that no one should give two craps about....
