As a person who isn't a sheep and has bought the game because i liked origins and its more of that, its the best game i've played in years. Grats on alllll you people who deserve a pat on the back for not buying the game. Countless bugs.... im 40 hours into it and the biggest bug i've found was a guy who shot out of the air and sat down to resume cooking his meal thats all. Really wish people had their own brains and experiences rather than just going off whatever 'ANY' doubter and hater says, completely sickening.
Yeah all you need to do is read the comment section of this video and 'most people hate because boring'? haha they dont even own the game they just see this video and are put off buying it because they think this is the entire game.
Also I know I mention this every time an open world game comes out but it bears repeating: open world games open themselves up to bugs: Witcher 3, Spider-man, Mafia 3, Watch Dogs 2, every Assassin's Creed game. There are just a lot of systems at play and it's fun to poke and prod at those systems breaking down while recognizing that it's a massive undertaking to balance them. Witcher 3 broke like a million ways when I played it, but it's still one of my favorite games. Odyssey is no different, and I've been really enjoying it so far. Just worth getting out of the way before I feature more NPCs turning inside out or setting themselves on fire.
+Jin Ruidmongm I'm not talking about Cd project red , I'm talking about Ubisoft. The witcher 3 it's a better game than ac unity for what matters , sure there were bugs and glitches at firts in the witcher 3 but they do gave a fuck and worked on their game. What Ubisoft does ? Release unfinished products within the lapse of a year between them and say whatever to justify rushed development
That's understandeable enough in a bunch of cases . But it's not your responsibility to adress for problems that a especific company does not care about when they definitely should care . Thanks much for all the work you do for this channel , it's great .
You haven't even touched the game and blindy believe what somebody else says. If you haven't experienced these games by yourself then you can easily be full of crap . Walk away fanboy. And if wasn't already clear , I don't give a damn about reviews that can be bought and yet praise a mess. But yeah the game it should be working fine after another 8 or 12 months of releasing patches
Wooow touched a nerve there. You can't think whatever you want dude. General consensus still is that AC Odissey is pretty darn good and your initial argument regarding their products "always being broken" is a dumb generalization (i can tell you from experience, Mario+Rabbids, far cry and south park fractured but whole were pretty solid and bugless) Your traumas ain't changing that. So bye.
I don't have to justify a damn thing to you . I've experienced a ridiculous error in the most recent Ghost recon game and yet they haven't fixed it for over a year now . The bugs and glitches in these latest Ac creed game are pretty damn real , in no way they've bothered on adressing them before the release time. Go screw off somewhere else . I don't need somebody else to tell me what I see with my own eyes
"somebody" i'm talking about multiple people. Multiple reviewers, multiple players i know personally and some time i did have with the game. Sure it's not a bunch but if this game was full of bugs people that are playing it right now would be complaining. And they are not, they are all praising it. What does that tell you? Either way you sound like a guy that had a couple of bad experiences with Ubisoft products and now is set on quickly shitting on all their new stuff regardless of what you actually know about it.
That's what happens when you rush out another "Assassin's Creed" game instead of waiting a year or so. Glad I didn't buy the game, from the grindy mess to the countless bugs, this game just seems bad and nothing like AC at all.
No, the amount of people recording them is getting bigger all the time. It's info-saturation, which fills a confirmation-bias. Info-saturation is therefore considered a boon for advertizement and a curse for news-gathering. If 10K sources are telling the world that your bread is the best, people will start to buy your bread as it appears to be widely endorsed. If 10K news-sources are reporting car-wrecks in a specific manner and tone, you might be feeling as if people with cars have become unsafe motherfuckers.
Since a lot of sources on the Internet are focusing on what's wrong with video-games instead of celebrating what's cool about the hobby, you're now feeling the constant, insessant negativity yourself and are starting to believe it. 'Games are getting buggier each year'.
No, they're not, the info on them is universally one-sided and overly negative.
maybe you should wait a bit if you're not in a hurry because the game does still have lots of bugs lol. I'm only saying that you shouldn't ignore a game just because it has bugs, but maybe wait until the bugs are mostly fixed before giving them a try.
Because all open world games have tons of bugs? Or are you just gonna casually ignore the fact that previous few highlight reels were populated mostly with Spiderman bugs?
AC:Odyssey is an amazing game that all lover of open world RPGs should give a try. Don't play it if you want to stick to your prejudices, but don't question why others play a critically acclaimed game.
Watch the hate comments on Assassins Creed come flowing in. But when it happends in Spider-Man its all of a sudden an easter egg. That's hypocritically if you ask me. I know that not everyone in the gaming community is toxic but this is setting an example towards folks who are peaking into the gaming community.
+Xz0779 Different glitches, similar to Origins as they were developed at the same time. But nowhere near as bad as Unity or AC3 in its release. You're comparing a game exclusive to a single platform versus a multiplatform game, I'm not sure you realize this, but you're essentially setting AC:O up for failure. How about compare it to ANOTHER open world Western RPG that is also mutliplatform, say Fallout 4, or Witcher 3. And then realize that Odyssey in its launch was not nearly as unoptimized nor as unpolished as BOTH those two games, ESPECIALLY on consoles.
+grace calis Still an AC game and still the same glitches, as for how long now ? 5 - 6 years ? Its has everything to do with the AC series. Don't know why these fanboys compare the Spider-Man game with this continous practice of releasing unpolished games . I'm still waiting for over 5 months now for them to fix a error in the Ghost recon wildlands game that makes the anti-air defenses impossible to keep them destroyed as they should be . But god forbid , there's 5 or 10 glitches in the Spider-Man game ! How dare they ! (which i had only 2 btw and none bothered me as much as if would at starting swimming on solid ground or falling through the floor like many Ubisoft games ) Lol , whatever bs you guys eat , it's pretty much that . Hypocrisy at it finest
AC Unity ?? People forgot about what they did back then ? A game riddled with bugs and glitches was released anyway at expense of their consumers at a point that the game was nearly unplayable? I always laugh when I remember a statement that they did after it was well known that it was a disaster in technical terms , " we're working furiously to fix any problems within the game " . And even after they continued releasing another game . AC syndicate didn't had a hell of a lot of bugs and glitches like before but definitely wasn't ready to be released . But did they care about that at the moment ?? Nope they kept on going . But yeah sure , they care about polishing their product before to be released at the public. Riiight * Sarcasm in this last paragraph btw *
Highlight Reel is gonna be on hiatus for two weeks after the next episode while I take some time off. Just giving y'all a head's up! Feel free to get your clips in before then and submit while I'm gone! Tim and Paul will still be doing vids/streams.
